I have been a mother for almost thirty years now...I wish I knew then what I know now about what I am sharing here..

Being a mother, a mom I believe is a Divine Calling. Whether a Soul (your child/children) came into your life by being physically created in your own womb or came into your life through your open hearted choice to adopt a Child (Soul) which was physically co created in another woman’s body, it does not matter! ...

You are a conduit, A co creator with the Divine for the support of a soul’s journey in this lifetime. In the human dimension we call this motherhood.

As poet Kahlil Gibran expresses “Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you…

In the Greater Picture, the Universal, Spiritual Realm this is true. Yet, in the human realm we seldom see children this way! We declare them as “ours” and see their behaviors and choices and personalities as good, bad, a reflection on us and too often try to “whittle” them, “mold” them into the vision of what we think they should be based on our personal, familial, cultural, religious, spiritual, social beliefs.

Our children come here, to earth by birth for a very special purpose. If your child has left the planet, died, no matter how or at what age, their “life work” was DONE. AND they continue to grow on the Other Side.

Their problems, disabilities are part of their life purpose. They took these on before they were born to help themselves grow as Souls or to help your Soul’s growth/mission/purpose.

Children who die have completed their life’s journey whether they were a miscarriage still born, a SID death or through diseases or accidents. Despite what appears to be on a human level, there is a MUCH BIGGER picture going on on the Soul/Spiritual Level!

HOWEVER, no DOUBT about IT! The HUMAN EXPERIENCE can STILL be VERY CHALLENGING! These experiences are very emotionally difficult and overwhelming at times.

AND YOU DID NOTHING WRONG! YOU ARE AND WERE THE PERFECT MOTHER!
